Dennis L. Hansch
As a senior partner of the firm, Dennis is well known for his expertise in the areas of corporate, business and banking, and employment law. He focuses his practice on a select group of corporate clients where he has the opportunity to serve both as general legal counsel to the business and as a close personal advisor to the business owner. Dennis also advises clients on matters involving mergers and acquisitions, business planning, corporate structure and financing, and employee relations. In today’s evolving business climate, he understands the need for practical, proactive, and cost-efficient service. The depth of experience and trustworthy counsel that he provides gives his clients both understanding and peace of mind concerning their legal matters.
Dennis has been active in numerous civic, charitable, and economic development organizations and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Florida Gulf Coast University Foundation, the Janesville Foundation, and St. Matthew's House.
Dennis has received Martindale-Hubbell's highest peer review rating and has been recognized as one of its top-rated labor and employment attorneys. He is a graduate of St. Olaf College and Drake University Law School. He has been admitted to the Western District of Wisconsin Federal District Court and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Dennis is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the American Bar Association. Dennis and his wife, Liz, are the proud parents of two sons, both of whom are attorneys.
Dennis retired from Nowlan at the end of 2017.
