Nowlan Celebrates June Dairy Month

With an extensive history of partnering with Wisconsin farmers relating to all types of Ag Law, Nowlan Law knows that Wisconsin isn’t just the Badger State—it’s America’s Dairyland. That’s why June Dairy Month is more than a calendar observance to us.  It’s an opportunity to honor the farming families, producers, and communities that form the heart of our state’s economy and culture!

This year, Nowlan Law was proud to celebrate June Dairy Month through a series of meaningful sponsorships and partnerships that connected us with the communities we serve—and the local farmers who make it all possible.

Breakfast on the Farm: Templeton Farms, Evansville

One of the highlights of our month-long celebration was sponsoring the June Dairy Month Breakfast at Templeton Farms in Evansville. This beloved annual event brings together families, friends, and neighbors to experience a true slice of rural life while enjoying a hearty farm-fresh breakfast.

Templeton Farms is a working dairy operation that exemplifies the dedication and resilience of Wisconsin’s agricultural families. The breakfast event gave attendees the chance to tour the barns, meet the cows, and learn about the processes that bring dairy products from pasture to table. Children enjoyed tractor rides and educational stations, while adults connected with local producers and community members.

As sponsors, we were honored to support an event that educates the public, strengthens rural ties, and celebrates the legacy of family farming. Attorneys and their families were on hand to enjoy breakfast, mingle, and soak in the spirit of the day.

Supporting Local: Farmer’s Markets in Janesville, Beloit & Fort Atkinson

Nowlan Law also extended its June Dairy Month celebration by sponsoring four key farmers markets in southern Wisconsin: Janesville, Beloit, Sun Praire, and Fort Atkinson.

Each market brings a unique flair to its downtown.  They offer a vibrant mix of fresh produce, baked goods, artisan cheeses, and—of course—locally made dairy products. Our sponsorship help keep these markets strong and accessible for local consumers.  We encourage everyone to shop these markets for unique, locally grown products! By doing so, you’ll also  as well as small-scale producers who rely on these direct-to-market opportunities.

• In Janesville, our hometown market continues to grow, offering residents weekly access to Wisconsin-grown food and locally crafted products. We’re proud to be part of a community effort that brings healthy food and community spirit together in one place.

• In Beloit, the riverfront market has become a regional favorite. Our sponsorship reflects our long-standing relationship with the Greater Beloit area and our commitment to supporting grassroots economic development.

• In Fort Atkinson, the farmer’s market offers a cozy and charming venue that showcases the best of small-town Wisconsin. Supporting this event helps preserve both local flavor and local tradition.
