Fred has handled a wide range of business and real estate transactions, covering everything from multi-million dollar commercial transactions to farm sales and residential real estate closings. He routinely deals with the complexities of land use, zoning, land division, licensing, and property tax issues. Fred’s goal is to eliminate post-closing complications before they exist.
Fred recently managed the sale via auction of 1,300 acres of prime farm land under eleven separate contracts of sale, as well as Janesville’s largest recent commercial redevelopment project involving the property previously known as the Oasis. He has also managed the development of numerous residential subdivisions. In the past Fred has handled the sales of major regional outdoor advertising companies and the acquisitions of some of Wisconsin’s leading tourist attractions, including The House on the Rock, The Springs Resort (now The House on the Rock Resort), and Lake Lawn Resort.
Fred holds undergraduate and law degrees from Marquette University. He and his wife have five children between them. Away from his practice Fred enjoys spending time with his family, bicycling and model railroading.
Frederick retired from Nowlan at the end of 2021.
