Last fall, Attorneys Tim Lindau and Mike Davis toured the Boys & Girls Club of Janesville. This on-site visit gave them a better understanding of the programs and services offered to the community. They learned more about the Club’s quality programming and resources.

While Nowlan Law has supported many Club fundraisers over the years, our Partners wanted to deepen our investment in youth through a 2025 Be Great Sponsorship. Be Great Sponsors help support the Club’s educational programs year-round.

“During our tour, we learned that over 100 kids are still on a waiting list to receive services from the Club,” Tim said. “We want every kid to have the same opportunity to become a productive member of our workforce.”

Through the Be Great Sponsorship, Nowlan Law is helping serve Janesville youth who need it most. The Boys & Girls Club provides critical resources that empower children to thrive in school and life.

Programs offered by the Boys & Girls Club of Janesville include:

  • STEM: Hands-on activities that connect youth to science, technology, engineering, and math.
  • Art: Creative expression that supports literacy, language development, and comprehension.
  • Triple Play: A wellness program focused on healthy eating, physical activity, and positive peer relationships.
  • Ultimate Journey: Environmental education that teaches leadership, critical thinking, and decision-making.
  • SMART Girls: Health and fitness education, prevention strategies, and self-esteem building for girls.
  • Passport to Manhood: A character-building program that teaches responsibility and life skills to boys.

  • Torch Club: A service and leadership group where members design and lead community improvement projects.
  • OJJDP Mentoring: Small group mentoring for elementary-aged youth focusing on conflict resolution and emotional regulation.
